Overview
We offer a 30-day returns window from the date you receive your order, in addition to your statutory 14-day cooling-off rights under UK law.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
We inspect all returned items upon receipt. Refunds are processed only if the items meet our returns criteria.
Please note: You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item and confirm it meets our policy:
- We will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- Refunds are usually processed within 3–5 working days after we receive the item.
- The refund will appear on your bank/credit card statement within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment provider.
We refund the full price of the item(s) including original standard delivery charges. However, we do not refund any additional express delivery costs.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within 14 days of us confirming receipt of your return, please follow these steps:
- First check your bank or credit card account (sometimes it can take a few extra days to appear).
- Contact us at support@homelyfy.co.uk with your order number.
We will investigate immediately and resolve the issue for you.
Sale items
Items purchased during sales, promotions, or in our clearance section can be returned for a refund under the same 7-day policy, provided they meet all other returns conditions.
However, we cannot offer price adjustments or refunds for the difference if an item goes on further sale after you have purchased it.
Exchanges
We are happy to offer exchanges where stock is available. If you would like to exchange an item:
- Contact us within the 14-day returns window.
- State the item you wish to exchange it for.
- We will arrange for you to return the original item and dispatch the replacement as soon as we receive it.
Please note: You may need to pay any price difference if the replacement item is more expensive. We will refund the difference if the replacement is cheaper.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the recipient:
- We can still process a return and issue a refund to the original purchaser.
- A gift receipt (without prices) can be provided upon request at the time of ordering.
If you received a gift and wish to return it, please ask the original purchaser to contact us directly.
Shipping returns
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent by us, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service when returning items. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.
For faulty or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid returns label or reimburse reasonable return postage costs upon receipt of evidence.
